Adapting To A High-Energy Dog Lifestyle

First and foremost, these types of dogs need to be free to exercise. It’s up to you as the owner to accommodate their needs through routine exercise two to three times a day or attend activities designed to burn energy. Such activities could be playing fetch, going on a jog, or visiting a dog park once he or she has completed socialization training. You could also enroll your pet in enrichment activities that double as exercise. These could be an organized sport, such as flyball, or a hobby, such as agility training or scent work.
